Everyone is giving suggestions here and there and theres a vote on BPGlobal but honestly, IMO, Anoop and Deepti should decide on the name and use the suggestions as a guide, not a limit of "one of these only" as Anoop seems to be doing.
It can become a headace later on in down the road when he wishes he had picked what HE wanted. And even then, theres the problem of WHAT to name NoName. I personally would make sure the indian name can be pronounced in english without difficulty and that the name will not label the baby or be a source of teasing as he gets older.
There are enough indians with real indian names coming to Canada and adding a (Bobby) or (Joe) middle name for the english to use/handle. Albeit not everyone of them was named after being born in Canada but parents should really think about what their naming their kids and the implications in the future. You can keep your heritage at the same time as blending in with the society you live in - theres enough indian names that mesh well with so many to choose from.
Basically i'm saying - don't pick some super off the wall weird indian name.
Remember how i picked Rosmina's name? Guess what, it's not as unique as i had originally thought - here's another person named Rosmina at http://spaces.msn.com/members/rosmina1986/ in Italy :-D
