GO FLAMES GO!
Game 4. They were up 4-1 in the second period and at the end of it the Blackhawks came from behind and it was 4-4.
It seems that the Flames have a few bursts of energy in the game in between all that ballet they do. They need to be more consistant.
The Blackhawks have come back hard in the 3rd and Calgary's doing alright. Nystrom just scored so it's 5-4, here's hoping they follow through the rest of the period and win.
All righty then, they did it. 6-4 over the Blackhawks. The Flames did well in the 3rd but they've still got a couple of things they can work on... But now here's hoping they can keep the momentum going in Chicago! It's a best out of 3 now!

Well I watched the Flames game last night. They won...yay...but I think they just got lucky.
I'm no expert, I don't know the technical aspect of the game but I know I'm enjoying a really good game when I feel energized just by the energy on the ice and from the fans.
When I was watching the first two games in Chicago, I was enjoying the game on how the Blackhawks were playing just from the energy of the fans there and I must admit, I was hoping those Flames fans who were lucky enough to go to the game here would match that same energy. Alas no. Maybe it was just the sound system being different in different buildings - I don't know but either way, when I was watching the Flames play, it felt like they were being so slow and the Blackhawks were skating around them.
Maybe I'm feeling this way because they were playing pretty shitty the last few games up to the playoffs and they lost thier first two but if they keep playing the way they have, I don't expect them to make it through the first round...again... |

Someone sent this to me, I'd say it's pretty accurate LOL
You know you are Asian when...
- When you tell your parents you got 98%, and they ask you what happened to the other two percent.
- There is a sale on any item, you buy 100 of them.
- You make tea in a saucepan.
- You never buy bin bags, but use your saved grocery bags for it.
- You put your clothes in suitcases instead of wardrobes.
- You have a 'Singer Brother' sewing machine at home.
- Your mother has a minor disagreement with her sister and doesn't talk to her for ten years.
- You call an older person you've never met before"uncle".
- You hide everything from your parents.
- Your mother does everything for you if you are male.
- You do all the housework and cooking if you are female.
- Your relatives alone could populate a small city.
- You're asked where your "pind" is when you get into a taxi.
- Everyone is a family friend.
- Everyone always called you for help on homework.
- You study.

We hosted my company's (CORI - Canadian Outcomes Research Institute) Christmas Party on Saturday and we had a great time. Mom, Nazima and Deepti did all the cooking and made a great meal for everyone.
The food was great, the company was great, it was a wonderful party and thanks to everyone who came and sorry to those who couldn't make it but know that we were thinking of you.
