Drivers - always "it's not my fault - it was the other guy"

I am pissed off at fucking drivers who think they were in the right and the other person was the one driving unsafely.

Ever since Rosmina was born, i've become more observant of how I drive. I'm more careful then I used to be; I am aware of my surroundings but more importantly aware of all others driving around me (especially since they may not be aware of me) - not necessarly in my lane but in opposite lanes, in intersections for side traffic and the like.

Earlier this evening, I'm driving behind this idiot who is going slower than the posted limit and decide to switch lanes. I turn on my turning signal and begin to move into the other lane. I'm half way into the other lane and he starts his indicator and begins to do the same right then. I see whats happening and I start to move back to avoid an accident and the indicator turns off. But this asshole goes back to the same lane and i'm now i'm in the middle of the lane on his tail so I finish switching lanes. Now my indicator turned off when I started to turn back into the original lane and I didn't bother to turn it on again since i was already in the middle of switching lanes and trying to avoid an accident.

After i've passed him, he moves into the lane and honks at me as he's turning into a side street.

Now i'm really pissed, what the fuck does he think? I was driving dangerously?

Well, I slam on the breaks and turn directly into the side street he's turned into and come up beside him and lower the window to tell him off. He turns around and starts telling me to "drive safe", that I was "speeding" and "cutting lanes" and "driving dangerously". Oh I was PISSED - he's the one who didn't bother to check if there was anyone behind him or beside him before he starts to switch lanes and he has the nerve to tell ME this shit? If he had checked, he'd have seen me indicating and moving.

If I didn't have Nazima and Rosmina with me, there would have been an incident then and there - I wouldn't have fucking cared. In hind sight, I will admit that turning suddenly to confront the guy was dangerous especially with Rosmina in the car.

I don't think I would have cared much for this guy's honking but i've had enough of being told i'm an unsafe driver from two people (no names), I don't need to hear it from drivers who fuck up and tell me its my fault.

Everytime I have these people in the car (seperate or both), they turn into back seat drivers telling me i'm unsafe. One is a worse driver than me and the other pretends to be a text book driver. They figure something awful is going to happen to them or the babies (when they're in the car) when i'm driving. The other day, i'm driving behind someone and slowing down. One suddenly tells me to slow down and I end up pushing on the breaks more quickly, jerking the car feuling thier need to continue telling me how to drive. The other starts telling me that i'm not following the "2 second rule" and i'm speeding. I wanted to say "before you say that, look at your own $250 ticket for speeding" but I didn't.

Either shut up or don't drive with me, you've got me so wound up i'm letting incidents like the lane change get to me.
